Empty Victories

 


Female fronted Punk outfit Zellots exploded on the London, Ontario Punk scene in 1980. Soon the band was opening for the likes of Bauhaus, Psychedelic Furs, The Demics, John Cale (Velvet Underground), and The Viletones among others. In 1981 Zellots hit the studio to record a well received six song EP. More gigs and recoding sessions followed but a major label deal proved elusive and the band folded in 1984. However, Zellots have not been forgotten and are still a favorite of critics, Punk connoisseurs and collectors the world over. The band has inked their songs to Fervor Records and the label is celebrating with the release of “Zellots – Empty Victories,”
