Z-Cars

Fronted by the late Peter Patrick and Christopher Bacon, Z-Cars (pronounced Zed-Cars) were well known for bringing their heavy British Rock sound, and stage antics, to the South Florida music scene. Taking their moniker from a British television show of the same name, the band rose to prominence during the late 70s and early 80s performing at venues including The Tight Squeeze, Finder’s Lounge, and 27 Birds. Rounding out the band were Ray Harris (bass) and Bruno (drums). In 1980 Z-Cars released the 7-inch “I Don’t Care” and “All Dressed Up” released on Pressure Drop Records. While combing through the band’s archives of multi-track tapes, Fervor discovered a treasure trove of songs never before released! Fervor Records is proud to keep their legacy alive by making Z-Cars available to a whole new generation of fans.
