The great Chilo Escobedo can be heard in the Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy.” Chilo’s masterpiece “Mirage,” from his LP “Su Vos Y Sys Canciones,” appears in Episode 204. Mr. Escobedo recorded the song with the legendary Mariachi Vargas in 1977 in Mexico City.
