Fervor Represents At Sundance

The 2016 Sundance Film Festival kicks off January 21st and this year Fervor Records has 6 songs in 4 films premiering at the prestigious event. Writer/director Sian Heder’s film Tallulah chose the 1957 REV Records classic I’m Gone Mama by Jim Murphy and the Accents as the film’s Main Title Theme. Writer/director Jeff Baena’s entry Joshy features The Gringo’s 1976 recording of The Life I Lead. Writer/director Rob Burnett’s offering, The Fundamentals of Caring, grabbed 3 Country classics from Fervor including both sides of Dave & Don’s 1961 Liberty Bell single I’m Back b/w Over My Broken Heart, and 1970’s Untie The Ribbon by Wanda Johnson. Finally, Hulu will premiere the first installment of their upcoming mini-series 11.22.63 at Sundance which features the 1960 MCI Records classic Stranger by Spence Bare. Fervor is extremely proud to perpetuate the legacies of the artists and songwriters of yesteryear through these fine Sundance selections. Click the links for more info.
