Queen Sugar Goes From New York to Shreveport

On June 22nd Fervor Records released “New York To Shreveport,” a compilation of obscure 1960s Soul music from the aforementioned cities. Four days later two of these songs, one from each city, will appear in the Oprah Winfrey Network’s hit drama “Queen Sugar.” Featured in Episode 306: “Delicate and Strangely Made” is Shreveport’s Ram Records recording “Lovers Land” by Ernest Walker, and from New York is “Foxy Roxy” a previously unreleased gem by Calvin Harris… no, not the Scottish DJ, he wasn’t even born yet 😉 Don’t miss “Queen Sugar” June 27th, and experience the incredible Soul sounds of “New York To Shreveport” across Apple, Amazon, Spotify and beyond!
