SyFy Network’s dark-fantasy, horror-drama “Van Helsing” will feature a rare recording from the vaults of Fervor Records. Country music great Dick Flood’s intimate 1968 recording, “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep,” will play over the last scene and end credits of Episode 209: “Wakey Wakey.” Fervor Records discovered the unreleased recording while signing the prolific songwriter’s catalog of works from the 1960s and 70s.
