24HR World

Hailed as Arizona’s answer to the need for post-punk pop in a world without Joy Division, 24Hr World was an alternative rock force to be reckoned with in the late 80s and early 90s. The five-piece band of Phoenicians featured Bil Yanok (guitar/vocals), Johnny Belluzi (guitar), John Saccoman (bass/trumpet), Tom Blackwood (keyboards), and Brian Ford (drums). Each of the five members was part of a great Phoenix pedigree of weird, noisy punk and pop bands including International Language, Our Neighbors Suck (ONS), The Nervous, and many others. Lauded by press and fans alike, 24Hr World recorded and toured extensively. Not for the faint of heart, but nothing great ever is. The band’s brilliant catalog is now at Fervor Records.
