Back in 2013, the team at Fervor Records unearthed five of Harry Krapsho’s gritty, impassioned 1970 soul-drenched jams. For decades, Krapsho’s amazing talents sat entirely lost in a forgotten box of tapes. Now, his music has been transformed into a culturally relevant masterpiece 56 years after its 1970 creation.
The boutique label lovingly restored the lost master to preserve its raw, authentic analog warmth. The painstaking preservation efforts gave new life to the songs, introducing Krapsho’s infectious energy to an entirely new generation of television viewers, playlist curators, and vintage soul enthusiasts. Since 2013, Krapsho’s rescued tracks have been featured over three dozen times across films, television shows, and major advertising campaigns. The latest milestone for this dusty relic, which had never seen a proper commercial release, is featured in Episode 106 of the new AMC+ and Acorn TV mystery series, You’re Killing Me. Loved the song on You’re Killing Me? You can stream Harry Krapsho’s, Got That Feeling, right now on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
