Buck Storm
In 1998, an eclectic group of Santa Barbara musicians joined Yuma, Arizona singer/songwriter Buck Storm and stepped into the California music scene. Buck and the band pulled from California’s early country-rock roots to forge their own distinct brand of Alt. Country. They soon entered Vintage City Studios in West Covina, California to record live through Wally Heider’s legendary API mixer straight to two inch tape. The result was the critically acclaimed release “Buck Storm – Goodbye From Venus.” Known for their unpredictable and energetic live shows, the band shared stages with artists like Jack Johnson, Glen Phillips, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Buddy Miller, and Leon Russell. Buck Storm is still a touring singer/songwriter and also an esteemed author. “Goodbye From Venus” now resides at Fervor Records.
