During the late 1960s and early 70s, Brainchild roamed the Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia area delivering their unique Prog-Rock/Rock Opera style riffage, replete with amazing musicianship. The product of several serious music students, Brainchild’s career was short-lived. However, many of its members went on to successful music careers in Los Angeles and Nashville, including Joe Pizzulo who went on to sing on hits by Sergio Mendes. Brainchild developed a solid reputation for their playful and fun live shows that echoed the band’s huge, theatrical sound. Brainchild’s recordings now reside at Fervor Records.
