Multi-talented Los Angeles singer-songwriter Sandy Szigeti began his career in the mid-1960s writing socially and politically charged anthems. He went on to co-found the hard rock band Kindred, which secured a Warner Bros. Records deal with the help of Three Dog Night’s Chuck Negron. Driven by his own distinct creative vision, Szigeti departed the group and was quickly signed to Decca Records as a solo artist. While his mainstream solo career went overlooked for decades, Fervor Records discovered his fascinating back catalog in 2012 and issued the retrospective album Make The People Sing. The release successfully transitioned the late artist’s hidden gems into high-profile film and television placements, proudly perpetuating Szigeti’s creative legacy. The music of Sandy Szigeti continues with the inclusion of his 1966 impassioned garage rock classic “I Need You” in Episode 109 of the Hulu comedy Not Suitable For Work.
