In the 1960s Toronto disc jockey and record producer Merv Buchanan founded Trend Records Canada. Merv went on to produce an incredible body of work by Canadian artists, many of whom found release beyond the Trend label. Much of Merv’s amazing catalog now resides at Fervor Records. One of these gems, the 1973 treasure “Tears To Be Cried” by Joy, was originally released on Concept Records.
