In 1977, Cecilio “Chilo” Escobedo recorded his debut album with world-renowned, Grammy- winning Mariachi Vargas at EMI Capitol De Mexico. Since he began playing professionally as a young teen, Chilo has enjoyed several radio hits, thousands of fans and performances for Presidents and statesmen. This digitally re-mastered release includes heartbreaking rancheras, tender boleros, a quinceanera waltz, and many other ‘canicones’ celebrating rich Mexican culture and heritage.
