DR Wilke was a founding member of Phoenix’s celebrated 1980’s Power Pop group Blue Shoes and its following incarnation, Red Alert. He was a talented musician, songwriter, composer, producer and Head Engineer at Fervor’s Bomb Shelter Studios for over a decade. His fingerprints grace a huge swath of the Fervor catalog. Wilke’s work has been heard in literally thousands of films and television broadcasts around the world. More importantly, DR was a gentle soul. He had a quiet disposition and thus, when he spoke, it was wise to listen. His musical legacy lives on at Fervor Records.
