The music of The Sugar Thieves is timeless and well renown for their distinctive Roots based repertoire. For their Fervor Records debut “2 Cups,” the label opted to highlight the talents of founders Meridith Moore (vocals), and Mikel Lander (guitar, vocals). The duo are incredibly gifted musicians, vocalists and songwriters and Fervor thought the best way to showcase their remarkable artistry was to throw any aspect of studio wizardry out the window.  The duo’s powerful, soulful, stripped-down performances illustrate their deep understanding of multiple genres and thorough musical vocabulary.
