The Lost Masters
As New Wave rushed to the forefront of Pop music in the early 80’s, The Jetzons were at the helm with an innovative brand of perfectly irreverent, yet oh-so- polished primitive synth music that drew on Punk, Prog, Funk and Early Rock n’ Roll. Formed by remaining members of the critically acclaimed Punk group, Billy Clone and the Same, the Jetzons were quick to make an impact and lead the way for a fledgling but fertile Tempe music scene, inspiring future successes like The Gin Blossoms. Since the Fervor Records re-issue of their breakout EP, The Jetzons have been featured in a wide range of film and television productions. This follow up offers a handpicked selection of previously unreleased tracks from the early beginnings of what was to be frontman Bruce Connole’s most influential project to date. So slip into the nightscape of 1980-83 and hear how it all began with The Lost Masters. For fans of XTC, The Psychedelic Furs, Duran Duran or The Cars.
