B. Willie Smith Band

Starting in the 1970s B. Willie Smith thrilled audiences throughout the greater Connecticut/New York area. Delivering skillful and stylish R&B tunes, coupled with excellent showmanship, the well rounded sextet would never disappoint. B. Willie Smith was part of Trod Nossel Artists (TNA) and in the early 1980s released two full-length LPs and a 45 on TNA Records. 1980’s World’s Favorite Songs was followed in 1982 by an eponymously titled LP, with a single to follow in 1984. The records were produced by the legendary Doc Cavalier and recorded at his famed Connecticut studio Trod Nossel. B. Willie Smith Band, and the Trod Nossel catalog, are now proudly represented by Fervor Records.
