A staple on the Miami/Fort Lauderdale scene, Alt Rock/Grunge favorites Dore Soul could tear the doors off a venue and always leave the audience cheering for more. Led by Carey Peak (vocals) and Jim Hadzopolus, Dore Soul created some of the catchiest songs on the east coast. Derek Sullivan (bass) and Gary Norton were the uber-solid rhythm section that provided a powerful backbeat to Peak and Hadzopolus, who were known for the occasional fireworks on stage and off.
Most recently, Fervor Records has reissued Dore Soul’s two LPs, 1993’s Blow Job and 1994’s The New Shit.
