Francine Reed
Veteran Blues diva Francine Reed is best known for her work with Lyle Lovett. She began recording and touring with Lyle Lovett and His Large Band in 1985 and has been a fixture with the ensemble ever since. Reed has also recorded duets with icons Willie Nelson, Delbert McClinton and Roy Orbison. Francine has appeared with Miles Davis, Stanley Jordan, Smokey Robinson, Etta James, and The Crusaders. Reed has received the W. C. Handy Artist of the Year and Song of the Year nominations, and was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 1997. Ms. Reed has recorded several solo albums, her most recent is her Fervor Records release “Wild Hearted Woman.”
