Bio

Houston, Texas Psych-Folk Rock duo, Noble & Fain had one release on their own Macón Records label. The 45 contains the Ken Noble penned song “Sparrow” which was issued in 1972. Ken Noble provides guitar, percussion, and vocals, while Don Fain sings and contributes the masterful Jethro Tull inspired flute solo. Noble’s wife, Kay, adds backing vocals rounding out the twosome’s self-produced single. Recorded in Houston on an eight track machine at Jones Sound Recording Studio, Noble & Fain successfully create a rich and delightful sonic tapestry which quickly engages the listener. Fervor Records is proud to be home to Noble & Fain’s “Sparrow” and has acquired the song, recording and the Macón Records label.
