Bio

Brooklyn’s Rotten Cheri embraced the sound of bands like No Doubt and Save Ferris (minus the horns) and created brazen, catchy power pop on their 2006 CD, 02. Singer Stephanie St. Hilaire exuded sex appeal while ruling every stage she set foot on, but she also had the vocal chops to match and guitarist Kee Chung and drummer Howard Alper more than held their own, as well. Songs like “Centipede” and “Jealous Girl” show why Rotten Cheri is a band many will wish they had seen when they had the chance. The album landed in the hands of Fervor Records who reissued 02 in 2019.
