Phoenix, Arizona singer/songwriter Doug Davis and his band Christopher Blue signed to Floyd Ramsey’s Ramco Records in 1970, debuting their first single later that year. Impressed with the band’s potential, the charismatic frontman Davis leveraged Ramsey’s enthusiasm for the band to launch the band’s own Ramco imprint, Blue Ram Records.
