Producer, songwriter, artist, engineer and entrepreneur Chef McKenzie was born in Queens, NY and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Chef got his start riding around the 40 Block recording and making beats in his car. The enterprising beat maker worked hard to develop his talents parlaying his ambition into owning and operating the media company Tree House Creations in Tempe, AZ. Chef McKenzie has forged his path with the heart of a Jamaican and the soul of an American black man in today’s society. On his debut Fervor Records release Chef has shown that even with humble beginnings and hardship you can succeed. He states, “I want to leave my mark and show the world that through it all there will still be Nice Days.”
