American Horror Story (FX) Launches Season 2 With Fervor Vintage From Frank Fafara

Critically acclaimed horror-drama series, American Horror Story, has returned for its second season and features an unreleased vintage cut from the Fervor archives in episode one.

With a non-traditional ‘anthology series’ format, each season is a self-contained miniseries with its own storyline, and the new season takes place in an insane asylum in the year 1964.

Historically accurate, a prominently featured song in the opening episode was a 1960 cut by Fervor’s own Frank Fafara, a teen idol from Phoenix, AZ.  The tune, Lovemaker, Lovebreaker is not currently available but is due to be commercially released in 2013 on a Fervor Vintage collection.

Airing Wednesday October 17th, AHS S2 E1 also featured There Goes My Baby by The Drifters, as well as the classic Singing Nun song, Dominique.

Tune in to FX network on Wednesdays at 10pm for new episodes, and stream clips, recaps and teasers on the official website.
