Fervor’s Old World Folk In New Madagascar Film

In June 2012, DreamWorks released a new addition to their popular film franchise Madagascar, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

Fully 3-D and boasting an all-star cast including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Martin Short and Jada Pinkett Smith, the animated full-feature debuted on over 4000 screens across America to the tune of $60 million on opening weekend alone.

Grossing at nearly $400 million worldwide, even the soundtrack of the film is star-studded, featuring the mega-hit Firework by pop powerhouse Katy Perry.  Joining the diva in the mix is Matt Hirt, Fervor artist/composer.

As the main characters try to make their way back to New York, they traipse through the European countryside, underscored by the classic sounds of Hirt’s circusy accordion waltz, Paris Au Printemps.
