Triplett Twins Get Funky In Save The Date Movie

Get It and Pretty Please, two funk-tastic tracks from the Fervor Records release The Triplett Twins EP, have made their way into an independent feature, which is about to hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on December 14th.

This official Sundance selection from filmmaker Michael Mohan is a light romantic dramedy, co-written by  graphic novelist Jeffrey Brown and Egan Reich.  Following a modern young woman caught up in the drama of an uncertain engagement and complex family dynamics, Save The Date aims to temper tender moments with a little levity.

The Huffington Productions film also boasts an acclaimed cast of cult favorites, including Lizzy Caplan (Party Down, Bachelorette, True Blood), Alison Brie (Mad Men, Community, Five Year Engagement), Martin Starr (Knocked Up, Freaks and Geeks, Adventureland), Geoffrey Arend (500 Days of Summer, Super Troopers), and Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Broken Flowers).

Save The Date is currently available for rental on-demand.  Find it on iTunes, Amazon, PX3, Xbox, and IFC Film section on cable.

Both recordings were made in 1970, and have since been reissued on the Fervor Records release The Triplett Twins EP, available on iTunes.
