West Valley Trio Fayuca Signs Deal With Fervor Records

Genre-Blurring DIY Warriors Partner With Equally Indie-tastic Local Label For Next Album

It’s been almost a year since Fervor Records launched Tempe’s quirky electro-dance band Super Stereo and NYC party rapper Tarik NuClothes. With both acts’ videos still buzzing on MTV.com and new albums on the way, the successful boutique label has recently added another band to the roster.

Fayuca, a latin reggae-rock-punk trio who proudly represent Phoenix’s Westside, are known for not only their incredibly high-energy, charismatic live show; but also their relentless coast to coast touring and extreme grassroots approach to the music industry. In the last couple of years (of their own accord), the band has become a regular on the festival circuit, sharing the stage with many notable acts including Damian Marley, Nas, 311, The Dirty Heads, and Fishbone.

Fervor Records CEO Dave Hilker, who has always chosen an unconventional path to success, welcomes the dedicated hard-working group. “All of us at Fervor totally love the energy and passion Fayuca brings to both their music and live performance. So adding the band to the roster is truly a thrill. Fervor is completely committed to growing Fayuca’s story on a National level.”

The new joint effort will be Fayuca’s fourth release and is currently in production.

Front-man Gabriel Solorzano says, “We are excited to be a part of the Fervor family. We’ve always been a ‘grab the bull by the horns’ type of band and we are glad to finally meet a label who takes the same approach. So far Fervor has been supportive, inspiring and has managed to motivate our band to write the best records we possibly can. We look forward to our future with Fervor Records.”

Fayuca will be celebrating their deal-signing with a show at the Crescent Ballroom (308 N. 2nd Ave., Phoenix, AZ) December 30th, when they co-headline with Sergio Mendoza y la Orkesta.
