Baby Oh Baby, Shameless

In 2011 Fervor Records unearthed a goldmine of previously unreleased funky R&B recordings from 1973. The songs are from the 7 piece horn band Fat City. Back in the day Fat City was crisscrossing North America packing clubs with their high voltage live show. In 1973 the boys came home to Phoenix, AZ to record 12 songs at the legendary Audio Recorders of Arizona. Incredibly, the album never found release. 38 years later Fervor Records was ecstatic when they heard the record and quickly set out to change the destiny of Fat City. The label is now perpetuating the band’s well deserved legacy with placements in film, television, and release across all platforms. This week Fat City’s “Baby Oh Baby” will appear in the Showtime hit “Shameless.” Enjoy Episode 308: “Frank’s Northern Southern Express” on December 10th, and experience Fat City on their Fervor Records release “Ain’t No Time For Stoppin’” across AppleAmazonSpotify & beyond!
