Throughout the late 1960s, vocalist and songwriter Ron Higgins teamed with some of the best A-list New York City studio musicians to realize his artistic vision. Backed by recording members of The Strangeloves (I Want Candy, Hand Jive, etc.), Mr. Higgins laid down his velvety smooth vocals over his original compositions. From introspective Pop ballads to fun-loving, feel good R&B tunes, Ron’s radio friendly recordings unfortunately never hit the mainstream. However, that didn’t stop Fervor Records from seeing the value in perpetuating the legacy of this gifted singer and composer. Fervor is proud to be home the songs of Mr. Ron Higgins.
