Description

PULSE – The album PLUS The Lost Recordings – a 2-disc set. 26 tracks………..and none of these tracks have ever been officially released on CD before. Includes the 9 tracks from the band’s only album (on Poison Ring Records) PLUS 17 newly-discovered, unreleased songs. This is NOT a bootleg. It is a fully-licensed and authorized release from Mascot Records under license from Poison Ring Records in conjunction with Fervor Records. And it is the FIRST authorized release of the album on CD. All tracks were recorded between 1967 and 1970 at Trod Nossel Studios (Syncron Studios), produced by legendary Thomas “Doc” Cavalier (aka Trod Nossel).

PULSE was Carl Donnell (vocals), Peter Neri (guitar, vocals), Paul Rosano (bass), Richard Bednarcyzrk (keyboards), Benet Segal (drums) and Jeffrey Potter (harmonica).

In 1968, the band released their stunning self-titled LP on Trod Nossel’s newly-minted Poison Ring Records (PRR 2237). PULSE was prolific and the band continued to record through 1970; however, none of that material was ever officially released at the time. In 2023, 17 of those recordings were unearthed in the Trod Nossel archives. These tracks were issued digitally by Poison Ring/Fervor in early 2024 as The Lost Recordings; however, they have never been issued prior to this release on any physical media.

Now, Mascot Records brings both the original album AND the lost recordings together in one release.
