Slyder dominated the Florida Rock scene from 1977 through 1984. That was back in the day when Johnny Depp’s band, The Kids shared the same circuit. Founded by singer/songwriter Billy Livesay (Clarence Clemmons, Foghat), Slyder recorded prolifically between touring nationally with artists including The Fixx, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and The Romantics. Many of those incredible vintage songs and recordings now reside at Fervor Records.
