Born and raised in South Dakota, Dave Lowe relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1956, just six days after getting married. Dave’s passion and aptitude for music soon led him to the well connected hit songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Connie Conway. Conway, who also owned MCI Records, had just landed a huge hit with Sanford Clark’s “The Fool.” The savvy producer quickly realized the young singer’s potential and immediately put him to work in the recording studio. Dave Lowe cut several sides with Connie which yielded two singles. Both found release on Floyd Ramsey’s Liberty Bell Records in 1957. Three of Dave Lowe’s incredible 1957 recordings now reside at Fervor Records where they have found new life in film and TV, resonating with thousands of fans around the globe.
