Silent Night

Director Steven Miller’s 2012 effort Silent Night was a ‘loose adaptation’ of the 1984 Holiday Horror flick Silent Night, Deadly Night and offered a scary alternative to the bundle of mirthy Hollywood releases of the festive period.

Adding an ironic sense of merriment to the picture, no doubt, was Howell-Freundlich Overdrive’s Go, Santa Go!, which was also featured in a holiday episode of ABC’s Suburgatory this year.

The upbeat seasonal tune, which is reminiscent of The Stray Cats, can be found on the Fervor Records compilation release, Christmas Fervor.
