Super Stereo Moves To Position #2 on MTVu!

At the start of 2011, Tempe, AZ based electropop band Super Stereo made a video for their debut single “Life Passed Me By” with director Nick Morrison of Astronaut/RGB2, and within days of its release, it shot to the top 5 on MTV.com.  The song, which is the first track of their genre-defining full length album This Is Futurepop, soon it climbed to the same range on MTV’s university-specific network, MTVu, and has been there for 11 weeks.

Well this band of dance beat astronomers are no flash in the pan as they’ve not only held their ground, but also recently advanced to #2, sandwiched between Bright Eyes and Matt and Kim.  This coveted indie spot is possible thanks to all the love and support of the fans in the Futurepop community (thanks team!).

The video, which was filmed on the Red One camera (extra hi-def) in classic NYC spots, including sunset-bathed Manhattan rooftops and gritty rock clubs in Williamsburg, is available on iTunes and can also be seen streaming on MTVu.com.
