Super Stereo Rocks The Neighbors Tonight On ABC

The Neighbors ABC’s quirky sci-fi comedy The Neighbors drops a new episode tonight (1/23/12), and will be featuring tuneage from Fervor electro ‘futurepop’ band, Super Stereo.

The song being used is Life Passed Me By, which was the upbeat, synthy lead single on their debut album, and remained in the top 5 on MTV.com for over 34 weeks when the video launched in 2011 (below).

And it is a good fit.  While the prime-time sit-com premise follows a regular family that moves into a gated community inhabited exclusively by aliens, Super Stereo’s entire motif is based on futuristic quantum physics concepts, telling the story of lovers separated by space and time over the course of the album. cover_SuperStereo_life_passed_me_by-300x300

Comfortably situated in the prime-time slot preceding mega-hit Modern Family, The Neighbors airs Wednesday nights at 8:30/7:30c.  And if you miss it, it’ll be available as a full episode, streaming on the show’s site.

Life Passed Me By is from the Fervor Records release This Is Futurepop, available on iTunes.
