The Looming Tower Gets Freaky Like That
Hulu premieres their original miniseries “The Looming Tower” February 28th. Set in the 1990s, the show traces the rising threat of Al-Qaeda and the dynamics of the FBI and CIA in the lead up to 9/11. Staying musically true to the era “The Looming Tower” reached out to Fervor Records for the authentic sound of the era. Heard in Episode 103: “Mistakes Were Made” is the 1996 recording “Freaky Like That” by Hip Hop outfit Tha Conglomerate. The first three episodes of “The Looming Tower” start streaming February 28th with additional episodes rolling out in consecutive weeks.
